Næstved – B 75 5-4 after Golden set (only in english):
It was not a match for the faint hearted, as we once again within a week needed a golden set to decide the outcome of a match against our friends from B 75.
Kamil Dziadek (B 75) proved he is more than just a young talent with two victories against Hampus Söderlund and Nikita Yarushin, but the 20 years old hard-hitter Tomas Koldas equalled that by winning both matches against Barius and Svenningsen.
Eric Glod, who usually is the best player from B 75, and appears to be a nice guy as well, had a lot of fortune in the first two set against our young russian Nikita Yarushin. Afterwards, Söderlund defeated him, and as Malte Möregårdh had the better of Peter Svenningsen, but lost to Barius, the two coaches decided that the golden set should be played by Glod and Söderlund, with Hampus Söderlund as the victor.
I have a gut feeling that B 75 and Næstved Bordtennis will be facing each other again in the semifinals, but let’s see…..
